Initial iMac and MacBook Setup Instructions

1. Create computer account in AD active directory domain.
2. Name computer in Sharing (System Preferences).
3. Find the email section.
4. Navigate to Users and Groups
5. Join computer to ad.weber.edu
6. Add DCHP admins to allow administration under administrative tab in AD options.
7. Enable “create mobile account at login,” under AD options.

Jamf Cloud Enrollment

1. Navigate here.
2. Select “DCHP” for user.
3. Find the email section.
4. Install Cisco VPN
5. Install Adobe Creative Cloud
6. Install MS Office 2019
7. Install Google Chrome
8. Install Crowdstrike (usually automatically installed).
